At Don's Auto Interiors & Tops, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please review the following policy for details on returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Return Eligibility

Eligible for Return

  • Unused, uninstalled products in original packaging
  • Items returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Products with manufacturing defects (any time within warranty)
  • Incorrect items shipped (wrong make/model/color)
  • Damaged items (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery)

Not Eligible for Return

  • Installed or partially installed products
  • Custom-order or special-order items
  • Products returned after 30 days (unless defective)
  • Items without original packaging or missing components
  • Products damaged due to improper installation or misuse
  • Extended protection plans (non-refundable after 14 days)

Return Process

Contact Us

Call us at (708) 371-8020 or email [email protected] to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please have your order number ready.

Pack & Ship

Securely repack the item in its original packaging with all components included. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the item to our Alsip, IL location using a trackable shipping method.

Inspection & Refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned item (typically within 3-5 business days), we'll process your refund or exchange. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is issued.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (PayPal). Processing time may vary depending on your financial institution.

Return Shipping Costs

For standard returns (change of mind, wrong size ordered), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For defective products, wrong items shipped, or items damaged in transit, Don's Auto Interiors will cover return shipping costs or provide a prepaid shipping label.

In-Shop Service Refunds

For in-shop services (convertible top installation, upholstery work, etc.), refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are not satisfied with the quality of work performed, please contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include re-doing the work at no additional charge or providing a partial refund. All service work is backed by our standard workmanship warranty.
